Trying to listen to her carefully through the gossip of 2 college girls sitting beside me had made me tighten my eye lids down and shrink my forehead.

'Make art movies hit, and appreciate Rahul Bose over Ranbeer Kapoor' is probably what she meant.
Hmm..Quite frank I would say..
I am really glad that I was able to catch up with Jaipur Literature festival this time. It had been quite an expansion of horizon.
First, there was a session of Gulzar's reading of his collection, Then Shabana on this, Then there was a Debate between the 'intellectuals' Presented by Barkha Dutt, on 'internet and books'. An add on was awareness about what to do when you need an eye shadow but don't have one. For the later, thanks to an enlightening discussion by the girls on my right. You see, closing eyes does not help always in concentrating.
However at times I did wonder were they actually there to elite us, or to promote there books, movies or communities.
Recalling the words of Shabana helped me realize it's a practical world and it's all about what I want not what you want.
At times I really felt sorry for those who were there thinking it's a life time opportunity listening to these celebrities for they didn't realize that it's called marketing and not enlightening.
Listening to few critics on a book doesn't help anyone.
Be a Critic Yourself for your own self.
On Books and Not Just on books but even on the way u Live. Don't follow. Choose your own path. Even if that doesn't lead you to the appreciation by the intellectual lot but if that is how you understand life, so that be.
Well Don't expect me to help you figure this out.
This is here where I'll end.
By the way that eyeshadow tip is quite a resourse. Can Help you with that though.
