Curiosity is a very important emotion in humans that seems to have lost the attention it deserves under the gigantic effects of other five emotions i.e love, Jealousy, Greed, Desire, Hate.
The thing that keeps refueling our lives even after a major failure or loss in life is curiosity to know what more life brings to us in a hopeful manner.
Since all that the word curiosity can say is c..u..r..i..o..s..i..t..y.., I have taken the duty of speaking for it and giving it the attention that it deserves.
Human being is a curious being. When we are kids we are inquisitive about what it feels like being taller. When we are in school we are inquisitive to know what is it that make college life so glamorous. When we move ahead we are curious to learn about love and so we keep modulating the defination of love by self experiences and friend's experiences.
Curiosity is a desire, a thirst, a hunger to learn, to explore, to increase our awareness.
Curiosity leads to growth.
Curiosity leads to inventions.
A curious being will put efforts to feed its hunger by getting involved in activities like, Reading, Travelling, Observing, Talking.
It's a positive feeling that develops positive habits that frames positive behavior and in turn there is a positive person who still desires to explore more, to learn more, to know more.
The best part is that it is a natural instinct. We don't need to develop it. We all have it.
When we go to a restraunt we are tempted to order the most unheard dish..why? Curiosity.
When we go shopping we like trying the most expensive apparel of the shop even when we know we are not going to buy it..why? Curiosity.
Why are you reading this blog..? May be I have forced you into this but otherwise it is curiosity.
The sad part is that it comes to the surface only when we want to collect gossips or do eve dropping on our neighbors or want to get updated with slangs/abusive words or try doping/gambling.
That is not curiosity, that is a feeling of inferiority and that is making everyone a wannabe.
If you really want to make something of your life pay attention when next time you feel the knock in your heart that says "I should know this."
You listen to the knock and then reading, traveling, talking, observing, will just follow.
Cheers to the curious era!!
Albert Einstein "I have no particular talent. I am merely inquisitive."
